This can consist of red pimples, pustules (pimples with pus in the centers), whiteheads, blackheads and cysts. It is the result of heredity and hormones. Treatment depends on the type and number of pimples. Mild cases can be treated with topical prescription medications. More severe cases can be treated with oral medications.
